It is 1st of February and it is time to start the ultimate project of an engineering student: the master thesis! In this blog I am going to give some updates and details about the project I am working on.
What led to this? In short, there was this amazing vision in the great minds of Atso Andersen and Kalevi "Eetu" Ekman : in Finland we have quite limited possibilities to waveboard, why don't we build something that would make it possible almost anywhere. And as it happened, ours truly mentioned to Eetu that I am packaging my studies and looking for a thesis work. "Why don't you build a mobile surfing simulator?" One thing led to another and soon after that an amusement park worker/life-style manufacturer were totally sold for this project.
So this is the first day and the aim is to get the formalities in order and to start to work on the thesis plan. I will share it here in some form as I'll get a decent version finnished.
As Markku said: "if I were a mouse, I'd be surfing"
You really can't help smiling after seeing (for about hundredth time) the video from our great success with the scale model.
